"Within months of graduation I landed a job in Kauai, Hawaii and was soon providing 20-25 massages per week. I now have the flexibility that I have desired for years and the opportunity for limitless personal and professional growth. Many of my goals have been reached including: gaining seniority as a lead Massage Therapist, rebooking clients regularly, and having time to surf too. My earnings are enough to fully support myself with rent, food, entertainment and savings. I believe I have received the best training possible. Not only does MSM provide students with a well designed education, but the school has the most knowledgeable and devoted instructors imaginable. I would not trade my experience for anything."

"Before attending Moscow School of Massage, I worked for 7 years in a variety of jobs in medical settings as: EMT, CNA, PT Tech, and Anesthesia Tech. After receiving a massage as a gift, I realized that I had found my calling. Making a positive difference in people's lives has always been important to me. When the 10-15 clients I typically treat each week find relief from stress, pain, and injury, I feel joy. Moscow School of Massage was more than an educational institution for me; it felt like coming together with a family who share the same goal of helping people with massage. " |
"Within months of graduating, I work 3 days per week doing 4-6 massages per day. I work with a chiropractor aiding healing processes, maintaining structural balance and increasing the patients' quality of life. Before pursuing massage therapy, I studied the performing arts, acting, voice and dance. I have always been intrigued with health and the art of human anatomy. I was drawn to the benefits of massage and the benefits of the simple yet powerful act of touch. I hope to further this knowledge through my continued education in massage and through my work with my employer." |
"To Lisa, Jim, Jan, Paula, Teresa, Deb, and all of the teachers. I just wanted to let you know that I took my National Certification exam today and I passed with flying colors. Thank you to everyone for all the help and training you provided me. I'll be keeping in touch. In August we're moving to the Virgin Islands, where I'll be working as a massage therapist. Love you all." |
" I provide 10-15 massages per week at WSU Health and Wellness Center while attending University of Idaho pursing a degree in School and Community Health. Massage has changed me in many ways. I'm calmer, I have more confidence in myself, and all in all happier than I have ever been. I love working with people and having a physically active job is even better. Having more time to do other things is great too. My goal is to do massage related medical research with an aim to increase the acceptance of massage therapy as preventative medicine. MSM was an excellent gateway to my chosen profession." |
![]() "I love going to work each day. It never seems to get boring, because my clients change every day and every massage is different. In September 2003, I opened my own practice where I get to set my own hours and rates. Moscow School of Massage gave me the confidence to open my own business and taught me the skills I needed to make it successful. I also do clinical massage at the local hospital one day a week. In my nine month experience, I learned to have confidence in my massage techniques and in my knowledge of the human body. I would recommend MSM to anyone interested in the field of massage therapy." |
"After graduating from the Moscow School of Massage, I began my massage career working independently at World Gym Fitness. My clients range from gym members looking to improve muscle recovery time after a hard work out, to veterans suffering from PTSD. I have really enjoyed working with a variety of people, each with their own needs, making every day something new. Being able to help others feel good and improve their health has been very fulfilling and rewarding. The comprehensive program at MSM is very thorough. I am confident that the school prepared me and my classmates to succeed by providing excellent teachers and a wonderful learning environment. The program was intense at times, but the instructors showed genuine concern for each student, making sure that everyone knew the material. I was very impressed with the variety of activities that we used in the classroom. The information was presented in ways that really made it sink in. I know that the education I received will stay with me for a very long time. The tools I gained while attending the Moscow School of Massage are skills I use daily. Communication, business, ethics, and professionalism are topics that apply to any career, not just massage. MSM also exposed me to a variety of bodywork practices, inspiring me to further my education and explore other types of healing. I just hope that my future education can be as positive and rewarding as attending the Moscow School of Massage."

"Since Graduating from MSM, I have moved to Portland, Oregon with my wife and daughter. In Portland I have worked for a Spa and a Pain Management clinic as the lead Medical Massage Therapist. I have also been running my own business, Alliance Pain Management. I currently have an office on the ground floor of my new house. In the meantime, I have been continuing my education as a massage therapist in the field of medical massage therapy. In January, I will be testing for my National Certification in Medical Massage Therapy. This certification requires an additional 500 hours of advanced medical massage training in assessments, sciences, and techniques. I am also putting the finishing touches on my business plan for a multidisciplinary alternative medicine clinic. I am anticipating opening my door in 9-12 months. Moscow School of Massage gave me a career. Not only that, they gave me the knowledge I needed to become a successful and educated healthcare practitioner. At MSM, I not only learned the anatomy and massage techniques to become a massage therapist, but how to excel in my new career field. When I entered MSM in 2002, I was in college, struggling not to flunk out. The staff at MSM helped me succeed in a way I was unable to do before, while holding me to their high standard of education. Their commitment to my success has now paid off for my family, my clients and myself. I would not recommend Moscow School of Massage because of what they did for me. I would recommend MSM because of what they can do for humanity. The teachers, staff and owners of MSM are loving and blessed people who are propagating a new generation of healthcare practitioners. These massage therapists are changing the minds of Doctors and patients alike. They are opening the eyes of the world to a different way to achieve health. I will forever be in their debt and I promise to pass on what I have learned." |
"I am currently a contract employee for St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho. I provide massage for health care and reception staff, as well as patients that are being treated for cancer. I love my career in therapeutic massage and I feel very privileged to work in a hospital setting. I believe Moscow School of Massage provided excellent preparation for career opportunities like the one I have at St. Luke's. I am glad MSM taught a firm foundation in therapeutic massage with introductions to working with many different clients, such as clients who are elderly, pregnant, or have cancer. I have found my career as a massage therapist in a health care setting extremely satisfying. I'm currently pursuing a degree as a Registered Nurse from Boise State University. I believe that attending and graduating from MSM was key to my success today." |
"Immediately upon graduation I opened my private practice in Pullman, Washington. After 5 years, I relocated to St. Louis, Missouri. I see clients for 18-25 hours a week in my professional downtown office and also provide chair massage at a local architecture firm. I credit my MSM's experienced instructors with helping me build a strong foundation for my fulfilling and successful career. I am proud to say that I have found what I truly love to do." |
"As I graduated from school, I thought I would enter the "Spa" world of massage. After I had been in Missouri for a couple of years, I joined the local Sports Massage Team and have not looked back,. The anatomy and kinesiology I learned in school has been the foundation for my entire practice. Even learning early on how to put together a Swedish Massage has helped me become a great therapist. The biggest goal I have achieved is I am doing something I love and I am good at it. MSM showed me how." |
